We had a great time while in Houston, TX last week for the Worship Facilities Expo. Being only a 2 day show it's not as brutal as others, but we still stayed pretty busy talking with current customers and new ones. Several of our business friends were on hand showing their products, so catching up with them is always a plus. We even had a few of our friends from the band Leeland come by on Thursday to say hey and just hang out. The shot above is the listening station on our booth equipped with several of the Westone UM2 earphones. Pretty huh?

So yeah, we meant to post on Thursday night, but things went really, REALLY late into the night/morning. More on that later...
Thursday morning started off with completing the ear impressions for students and staff at the Contemporary Music Center. After that we were invited to speak to the student body about hearing protection and personal monitors. Jeff started things off with a brief overview of Westone and why we believe teaming up with the CMC is important. Doug followed by going in depth on the product line and what is best for each performer/musician. Michael then closed things out by going more into hearing health while on stage or around the stage.

Just finishing up a loooong day here at the Contemporary Music Center. The day started off with a trip to The Black Dog for breakfast. Apparently this is the "official" hang of the locals. We recommend the Woofer, a delicious bagel sandwich and a cup of joe. After breakfast we joined the students for their "Inside the Music Industry" class taught by Tom Willett, followed by a songwriting class lead by Nathan Lee.
